June 1: West Placer Deanery young adult planning meeting at 7:30pm at Peet’s by The Fountains. Come help us plan our programs.

June 6: Adults with young familiesat 10:00am in the Morris Hall. Parents will sharing scripture in the Lectio Divina process while the children are with some of our teenager’s playing and praying together. Light refreshments will be provided

June 11: West Placer Deanery “Ice Cream” party & speaker at 7:00pm at St. Peter & Paul in Rocklin. More details about the speaker will be available next week.

April 8th- West Placer Deanery planning meeting at 7:00pm at Jericho Cafe. Help our committee plan our next few months.

April 9th- Movie & Pub Night starting at 7:00 pm at St. Peter & Paul in Rocklin. We will watch an oldie but goodie movie. Join us for our monthly west placer deanery young adult gathering.

April 11th & 25th - Our Young Adults with familiesgroup has started. We would love to have other young adults with families come join us twice a month at 10:00am in the Morris Hall. This exciting group will meet in the Morris Center. Parents will sharing scripture in the Lectio Divina process while the children are with some of our teenager’s playing and praying together. Light refreshments will be provided.

February 28- Our Young Adults with families group has started. We would love to have other young adults with families come join us twice a month at 10:00am in the Morris Hall. This exciting group will meet in the Morris Center. Parents will sharing scripture in the Lectio Divina process while the children are with some of our teenager’s playing and praying together. Light refreshments will be provided.

March 4^th- West Placer deanery planning meeting at 7pm at Jericho Café in Roseville.

March 12^th- Pub Night starting at 7pm until St. Peter & Paul parish in Rocklin. This evening will be a trivia style night with a no host coffee/beverage bar. A flyer will be available after March 1^st.

March 14th & 28th- Our Young Adults with families group has started. We would love to have other young adults with families come join us twice a month at 10:00am in the Morris Hall. This exciting group will meet in the Morris Center. Parents will sharing scripture in the Lectio Divina process while the children are with some of our teenager’s playing and praying together. Light refreshments will be provided. Come join us on our next meetings: February 28^th, March 14^th and March 28^th (in the La Salle room) after the 9:00am Mass

Our young adult group meets monthly. Come join us!

January 30: Praise and Worship Concert with “Jacob and Matthew” at 7:00 p.m. in Morris Hall. Don’t miss this opportunity to gather with other young adults (age 18-39) for a praise and worship concert with the Jacob and Matthew band (www.jacobandmatt.com). No host bar. Coffee drinks will also be available. Limited number of free seats available, so be sure to RSVP. Good will offering will be taken. The event is sponsored by the West Placer Deanery Young Adults.

Our young adult ministry has the following events coming up. Our first events of 2010 will be our deanery events:

Friday, January 8th Catholic Pub Night - Come meet & greet at 7:00pm at St. Peter & Paul in Rocklin for a night of meeting new people, trivia,and enjoy the start of 2010. A flyer is attached for this event.

Sunday, January 24th - Adults with young families meeting to discuss our NEW group at 10:00am in the Morris Center. Childcare & activities will be provided. Come start the new year with a group to pray together, play together, or even start a small faith community, or have a bible study. Bring your families calendar & ideas so we can take next steps in starting our adults with young families. For more information, please contact Paula Staszkow.

Young Adult Deanery Planning Meeting October 16th

Friday, October 16- Would you like to see more offered for YOU and other Young Adults in the area? The West Placer Deanery of the Diocese of Sacramento invites YOU to be a part of a Deanery-wide Advisory Committee for Young Adult Ministry. We are looking for representatives from our 7 parishes to meet monthly to plan events for Young Adults (college students, young married couples, single parents, and everyone in between!) Join us Friday, October 16, 2009 from 7:00-8:30 PM at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Family Fiesta Fundraiser!

Save the Date! Our youth & young adult ministry programs will have our first fundraiser dinner on Saturday, October 3rd. This event will be a “Family Fiesta” for all parishioners 0-102 years of age! Plan on attending this wonderful event of dinner, dancing, and fun for the entire family. Help support the wonderful youth & young adult programs we are trying to start here at St. Clare. Bring the whole family. Cost for this event is $8.00 for adults & youth and $5.00 for children (4-12) & seniors children (0- 3 )are free. Tickets will be available from September 15^th- October 1^st at the parish office and after all the Masses.
