The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) is a process for anyone who wants to become Catholic or learn more about our Catholic Faith. Our 2008-2009 sessions will begin on Sunday, Aug. 31 (at 10:15 in the LaSalle Room in the Parish Center) with an Orientation and Registration Session. The session will continue every week thereafter. RETURNING CATHOLICS
If you are Catholic and have been away from the church and want to be updated in our faith, please plan to join us for these special meetings. They begin on Tuesday, Sept. 2 from 7PM till 9PM in the Library in the Parish Office and continue for 5 more Tuesdays.

We are in need of Godparents and Sponsors who are willing to accompany the candidates on their journey of faith and help answer their questions.

The purpose of Ministry of Mothers Sharing (MOMS) is to give mothers a place to reflect and grow in their faith while making spiritual friends. Mothers of all ages are invited to join.

CHILDREN'S LITURGY
Our Children's Liturgy meets each week at the Sunday 9AM Mass (except for certain feast days) children between the ages 6 and 12 are invited to go to a separate room for the Liturgy of the Word. The scriptures are proclaimed and a teaching is given in an age appropriate manner.
They won't meet during the summer months (June, July and August).
The children then return to the Mass for the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
All children are invited and the parents are welcome to accompany them.
YOUTH GROUP
A Youth Group is active in our parish for teens ages 13-18. For more information contact Catherine Ho or Paolo Vergara.We are also in need of advisors ages 18-25.

CHARISMATIC PRAYER MEETINGS
A charismatic prayer now meets in our parish on all Saturdays at 7PM in the St. Clare Room. For more information contact Joe or Fannie Dahilig. All are invited to attend.
PANCAKE BREAKFASTS
Our Knights of Columbus will host a Pancake and Sausage Breakfast in the Morris Center Hall on the 3rd Sunday morning of each month. Cost is $6 per plate - payable at the breakfast, children under 10 is $3. The whole family can come for $20.
The next breakfast will be Sunday, Sept. 21. Breakfast includes: eggs, sausage, pancakes, potatoes, fruit, juice and coffee. Serving time is from 8AM to 11AM in the Parish Center Hall.
HELP ST. CLARE WITH NO EFFORT OR COST TO YOU
If you'd like to help St. Clare financially with no effort or cost to you, you can enroll in eScrip. Then as you shop using your credit or store card, money will automatically flow to
our parish. All that is required is for you to register your credit card or store cards with eScrip and then shop as usual. About 20 of our parishioners are now doing this and there has been no risk or solicitations. The money we receive is used for youth programs at our parish.
